6.5” tall, White Pine. This piece was carved from a limb of the tree that used to stand in front of my childhood home in Jefferson, Maine. The figure and the chair were carved from one piece of wood, although I initially had to laminate two pieces of the limb together to create a big enough “canvas” to work with.
This piece sits on a 10” wooden box, painted with silhouettes of white pines.
